Professor Ian Town MBChB, DM, FRACP (Chair) 2007 - Present Ian was formerly the Dean of the Christchurch School of Medicine and Health Sciences before taking up the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Canterbury in April 2005. He was Director of the Canterbury Respiratory Research group for 15 years and is currently President of the Asthma Foundation of New Zealand and a Life Member of the Medical Research Foundation. |

Rose Laloli RGON, BN, PG Dip Health Informatics 2007 – Present Rose is a Registered Nurse with a broad range of experience in clinical and health management roles. Her career spans more than 30 years across both public and private health sectors. Rose now pursues a diverse range of business and community activities, both in Canterbury and throughout New Zealand and is passionate about professional leadership development, quality management and social justice. She has had a number of health advisory appointments and continues her interests in health planning and service improvement. |

Jim Magee BA (Hons), MBA (Otago) 2007 - Present Jim is currently the Chief Executive of Nurse Maude and has spent sixteen years in the health sector and has been general manager of Dunedin, Christchurch Women's and Christchurch hospitals. He worked for several years as a management consultant with clients mainly in primary healthcare, advising on strategy and organisational development. He is on the boards of Partnership Health PHO and Canterbury Community Care Trust. Before moving to New Zealand from the UK in 1983 Jim held management positions in manufacturing and information systems development. |

Sheree East RGON, ADN RM, PG Dip HealSci (Nursing) 2007 - Present Sheree is currently Director of Nursing at Nurse Maude and is a registered nurse and midwife with a background in child health and case management midwifery. She has a passion for the primary care sector and has held positions with the New Zealand Plunket Society, the Canterbury Region of the National Cervical Screening Programme and coordinated the Community Nursing service at Nurse Maude. Sheree was instrumental in setting up the Canterbury Primary Health Care Nurses Network and is an active member of a number of Ministry of Health and DHB reference groups and committees. |

Dr Chris Hendry RN, RM, BA (Canty) MPH (Otago), DMid (Sydney) 2007 - Present Chris has been a nurse and a midwife in New Zealand for over 30 years, having worked in a variety of settings and roles throughout the country. For the past 10 years Chris has provided consultancy services to DHBs, the Ministry of Health and DHBNZ, while working part time as a postgraduate lecturer, initially at Victoria University, then Otago Polytechnic. Chris's doctoral research focused on exploring the complexity of service provision by rural community based midwives. |
